Her degree gives her knowledge and understanding of children’s behaviour, learning, and development which greatly influences her approach to teaching. Gabby is passionate about learning and continuing on her education. She hopes to one day complete her masters in education.

It is Gabby’s unique background in gymnastics that brought her into teaching gymnastics and dance. Studio Director Administration

Debra is the Studio Director of Creative Outlet, responsible for the behind the scenes workings of the studio, looking after the administrative and marketing side of the business as well as producing its performances.

She has been involved in the dance world since 1998, running Creative Outlet since 2004. She was Production Manager for Chilliwack Musical Theatre’s Bye Bye Birdie and King & I, produced Guys & Dolls for CSOPA and has volunteered with The Chilliwack Players’ Guild.

She graduated from Agassiz Secondary and went to UBC where she completed a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English Literature. After graduating from UBC Debra took an internship at a graphic design studio in Vancouver specializing in corporate communications and public relations.

After moving to Chilliwack, she ran a home-based graphic design business and developed and ran Rodeo BC, an interactive web page for amateur rodeo associations in BC, and was Marketing Manager and then Property Manager at Chilliwack Mall.

Debra’s content to stay in the shadows backstage pressing the play button for her dancers and letting her actors do the acting. Besides, it’s a great excuse for buying yet another new black outfit.
